The Silicone heat protection sleeve is a fiberglass sock with an outer layer of silicone to wihstand extreme heat radiation.
Resistant to chemicals like fuels and oils.
The silicone sleeve can handle a continuous temperature of almost 300 degrees and up to 1000 degrees for short moments.
Perfect for protecting hoses and cables routed too close to heat sources. Both hoses, cables and media in hoses are adversely affected by heat radiation and accelerate aging and performance. Therefore, a silicone heat protection sleeve is a perfect protection and in some cases crusial for normal operation.
A 10mm silicone heat protection sleeve is made to fit hose or cable bundles up to 10mm outer diameter.
